The axe is falling during network upfronts

Entertainment News, Recaps and Previews Comments Off on The axe is falling during network upfronts

The cast and crews of television shows across the dial are waiting with heavy anticipation while networks decide whether to renew or cancel shows on the existing schedule to make room for new shows for the 2019-2020 television season.

While many shows are receiving bad news right about now, including shows like ABC’s Whiskey Cavalier starring The Walking Dead alum Lauren Cohan and the comedy The Kids are Alright from fellow TWD-alum Michael Cudlitz, the good news is that lots of shows are being renewed and even more are being ordered as pilots for the upcoming television season.

It’s still early in the upfront season, where network executives make their big flashy presentations for marketing agents to show off their new schedules and hope for big advertising money to pour in. However, networks are making moves very quickly so now is the time to keep an eye out for some of the most interesting shows being ordered and do some research. It’s always fun to be on the early end of TV show fandoms so that you’re part of the excitement during the premieres.

We’ll be reporting on some of the exciting new additions to the 2019-2020 television schedule once the dust settles, but for now be sure to sit back and watch as the winds of change blow through the television landscape once again.
