If scaring is caring, then getting paid to scare isn’t just a job, but a humanitarian effort, right? Right! Universal Studios Hollywood is hiring scare actors for Halloween Horror Nights 2018. Auditions for performers (both scare actors and stilt walkers) will take place July 5-7 in Universal City, CA. Per the Universal Studios website, here is a brief rundown of what should be expected during tryouts:
“Scareactors and Stilt Walkers:
Performers will be asked to do some improvisation and demonstrate “scare-abilities”.
Please come dressed to move.
Current headshot and resume preferred.
Performance spaces may include one or more of the following: tight spaces, darkness, strobe lighting and fog effects.
Height in range of 6’+ a plus.
Performers must be available for possible event days in September through November for casting consideration.
The 2018 mazes that have been announced so far are Trick ‘r Treat and Stranger Things. Do you think you have what it takes to be a demogorgon? Or perhaps you feel more confident being a young lady-turned-werewolf or a burlap clad, Halloween loving little maniac named Sam? If so, it’s your time to shine!
