With only 24 hours to go before the next installment, MTV are celebrating the best ratings yet for it’s flag ship drama, Teen Wolf.
More than 2.5 million Wolfies tuned in for the mid-season premier of 3B, “Anchors”, a record breaking number for the show.
They were frothing at the mouth to see what damage the events of the shocking mid season finale had done to the three leads, Scott (Tyler Posey), Stiles (Dylan O’Brien) and Allison (Crystal Reed).
The show did not disappoint, with all three suffering mental and emotional trauma as a result of their actions. Added to that was a shock “entrance” for show favourites Derek and Peter Hale, shown being tortured by a mysterious figure.
On top of the show’s TV ratings, Hypable reports that Teen Wolf ruled the sub-ether on the night too, dominating Twitter conversation during the airing with the #TeenWolf hashtag.
Brand new after show, Wolf Watch, also took a bite out of ratings, keeping more than 1.5 million bums on seats for the half hour celebration of all thing Teen Wolfie after the episode.
Seems like Teen Wolf is bounding from strength to strength, and with a fourth season already green lit, it’s likely to continue to do so.
Teen Wolf airs on MTV at 10pm, Monday night.
