Hang onto your pelt’s Wolfies, Jeff Davis is back online!  Kind of.

The Teen Wolf Showrunner will return to the internet for one day this week when he takes over the Teen Wolf tumblr to answer fan questions.

MTV’s official Teen Wolf blog, Never Love A Wild Thing, announced the writer will be taking over the ‘ask box’ on Tuesday, February 19. The post was tagged “He’s a gift you know”, a reference to a popular Wolfie saying.

Wolfies on Twitter and Tumblr have been howling with delight.

Superfan Cole the Wolf was one of the first to reblog the news.

“Jeff bby,” he posted on the site.  “Finally you’re coming back to Tumblr. Even if it’s only for a few hours. I am so happy.” The post was accompanied by a gif of Dylan O’Brien dancing.

Davis had maintained an open relationship with fans of the show via Instagram and Twitter, until he suddenly deleted his account in January.

At the time, fans speculated that fierce and frequent criticism of casting choices and the pressure of writing drove him away, although Davis gave no reason himself.

We’ll bring you the low down on the Wolfies’ questions and Davis’s replies after his stint in the hot seat.  Stay tuned.
