Family has always been an important theme on Teen Wolf, and latest casting news shows that is set to continue in the new season.
Casting news posted at Spoiler TV says episode 3.08 will introduce a much speculated about character: alpha werewolf Derek Hale’s mother.
Calling her Talia, the spoiler describes her as a “deadly alpha werewolf”, although no actor has yet been attached to the role.
Earlier spoilers have confirmed 3.08 will be a flashback episode showing scenes from Derek’s life before the fire that killed Talia and 7 other members of the Hale Pack. However Spoiler TV says Talia could become a series regular.
Returning from the dead would be nothing new in Beacon Hills, or for the Hales. Peter Hale (played with scenery chewing glee by Ian Bohen), Derek’s deranged uncle, returned from beyond the grave in season two.
Could season three see Talia Hale come back the same way?
Laura, Derek’s sister, who appeared in season one flashbacks, will also appear in the episode.
