A teaser for Jordan Peele’s reboot of The Twilight Zone dropped during the Super Bowl, and we’re here for it.
It’s no secret that The Twilight Zone has legions of fans who love the time-honored science-fiction classic. But the new teaser for Jordan Peele’s reboot for CBS All Access has us really excited.
Take a look:
In the teaser, the broadcast is interrupted and then returns with an empty stadium. Jordan Peele is there. He’s everywhere, actually, as his clones start to appear in the empty stands. There’s a doorway on the field, one that looks a lot like the one on The Twilight Zone’s opening credits. He steps through, and disappears.
For anyone worried about the reboot, it would seem that the show is in Peele’s capable hands. As a fan of the genre and of Rod Serling’s ahead of its time show, there’s no question that Peele will be a faithful steward of the property, ushering in a new era of the show for legions of new fans.
The Twilight Zone premiere on CBS All Access on April 1, 2019.
