More news from the Television Critics Association’s winter press tour, this time from the CW’s president Mark Pedowitz. As reported by TVLine.com here’s what Pedowitz had to say about the fate of Supernatural (People’s Choice Award Winner for Favorite TV Fan Following and Favorite Sci-fi/Fantasy TV Show):
“We are pleased with how Wednesday night has worked out with Arrow and Supernatural. Creatively, the show is in a great place. There’s always a good shot .”
Pedowitz also talked about a Wonder Woman series in development called Amazon, which is in the very early stages (the network is still waiting on a script and preliminary casting).
Added to the news was the mention that, while Beauty and the Beast has comparable ratings to the now-canceled supernatural drama The Secret Circle, its devoted fan following may have saved the show. “Based on the passion of fans,” Pedowitz said. “We think we have something .”
