San Diego Comic Fest March 7-10

Entertainment, Entertainment News Comments Off on San Diego Comic Fest March 7-10

San Diego Comic Fest 2019 is the place to be March 7-10. Fans of comics, movies, and science fiction will enjoy this intimate and unique convention brought to you by a group of the same icons who founded San Diego Comic Con.

Pop culture conventions have reached new levels of popularity in recent years. San Diego Comic Fest has been going for seven years and it’s growing with every passing year. It’s a different kind of convention, offering an intimate experience for fans without sacrificing the things that fans enjoy with their convention experience.

Though SDCF offers an Exhibitors Hall, panels and a thriving Artists Alley like so many other conventions, it also sets itself apart with things like the Tranquility Base Cafe. This year’s cafe is dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon Landing and it’s a great place to hang out and listen to fascinating panels.

SDCF takes place March 7-10 at the Four Points Sheraton on Aero Drive. It’s a great venue with plenty of open space, room to hang out inside and outside, and lots of places to meet and talk with other fans and professionals.

This year’s guest of honor is Will Eisner Hall of Fame award winner Sergio Aragones, also known as the world’s greatest living cartoonist. Aragones is known for his work in MAD Magazine, dating back to 1963, as well as his role in creating Groo the Wanderer.

Tickets for the event are $50 for the entire weekend, and single day tickets are also available.
