This episode starts off on a definite sober note.  Emily talks about intuition and how sometimes it’s a gift and sometimes a curse.  Sometimes it’s better not to know.  Blood is being cleaned off of the Grayson’s floor and Victoria throws a bloody check and paper in the fire.  We then move back 24 hours.

Conrad and Victoria are discussing bringing the Initiative back.  They kind of have to, since they’ve started the scandal with the White Haired Man.  Conrad is making a trip to Florida to meet with an agent.  The Initiative doesn’t believe the Grayson’s story about kidnapping.  When Daniel blows the lid off the false accusations, the Initiative will take action against the Grayson’s.  As mad as Daniel is now, I don’t think he’ll be happy with the way the Initiative will handle his parents.

Amanda moves out of the bar.  Jack doesn’t really want her to go, but he sticks to his guns.  Emily has told Amanda she can stay at her beach house as long as she wants.  Revenge has so clouded Emily’s thinking she doesn’t even understand how many other people she’s destroying.  Amanda points this out to her.  Victoria calls at this point and wants to look at the journals that Amanda has been showing to Charlotte.  Amanda agrees to come over that evening and bring the journals.

Amanda meets with Victoria that evening but has Emily coaching her through a listening device.  Victoria asks how much she wants for the journals.  Silly Victoria, we don’t need money.  We need information.  Amanda keeps pushing Victoria for information about her mother.  Victoria tells Amanda that all she knows is that her mother died in a mental institution.  Then she threatens Amanda with possibly the same fate.  Is Victoria saying that she helped put Cora into the mental institution, and if Amanda isn’t careful she’ll end up the same way?  Sounds like it to me.  Charlotte comes in just in time to stop the fighting and forces Victoria to says she’s having an impromptu baby shower tomorrow for Amanda.

Padma is busy trying to get Nolcorp ready for the audit.  Apparently Nolan hates opening mail as much as I do because he has piles of it.  Padma starts going through and finds out that Nolan’s father has passed.  Nolan and his dad had a falling out when Nolan told him he wasn’t going back to school.  Padma retrieves a scrapbook that Nolan’s dad had kept of all his accomplishments.  Nolan’s dad was proud of him all along.  This tears Nolan up.  He and Padma go to the storage locker.  While they’re cleaning up Nolan goes in for a kiss.  In classic Nolan the box that he’s leaning on collapses and he falls over.  When he comes in for the kiss a second time it’s super sweet and romantic.  Way to go Nolan!  As they’re getting ready to leave the storage Padma finds a framed picture of the check from David Clarke that started Nolan’s business.  Since Padma works in finance I’m fairly certain she kept up on the trial coverage of David Clarke.  Maybe that’s why she seemed disturbed by this find.

Ashley is still keeping an eye on Daniel for Conrad.  They are so skeevy!  Daniel tells Ashely he’s not going to let good people gt taken down by his father’s meddling with the investors money.  Ashley gets a call from Conrad and that puts Daniel on guard.  Daniel has Ashley called away by a false unauthorized parking issue.  While she’s away he listens to a voice mail from his dad that lays out exactly what Ashley’s been up to.  Pretty convenient.

Aidan is still trying to warn Emily about her mom.  He goes to see Cora and tries to get her to believe he’s working with Gordon and that she should tell him anything that they had going on.  Cora tells him about the hard drive in the safe.  Then super crazy Cora shoots Aidan with a taser in the neck and he goes down.  Cora then restrains him and says she’s going out to find Gordon.

The baby shower is a hot mess.  Strippers and socialites.  Victoria gives Amanda a baby “journal” with a check for $100,000. Emily tells Amanda to confront Victoria with the sign in entry handwriting that matches the check.  Why did Amanda’s dad tell her that her mom was dead?  Amanda is really pushing Victoria.  For some reason the connection between Amanda and Emily isn’t working.  Emily isn’t able to hear Victoria tell Amanda the reason her dad told her that her mother died.  Amanda’s dad was protecting her because he mother tried to kill her.  Amanda doesn’t believe this.  They are having a heated discussion on the second floor in the hall way.  Victoria grabs at the papers in Amanda’s hand.  Amanda backs away and falls over the railing landing on the foyer floor.

Charlotte goes to the hospital with Amanda.  As they put her in the ambulance Amanda tells Emily that she wants to make sure they save the baby.  Emily calls Jack and they all gather at the hospital.  The doctor comes out.  The news is not good.  The baby is losing oxygen and Amanda isn’t stable.  Emily breaks in that Amanda wants them to save the baby.  Jack is shocked.  They do an emergency c-section. Amanda is placed in a medical coma.  The outlook is not good.

Earlier that day Jack met with the guy Declan stole from.  He can’t get the items back for him but he’d like to pay for them.  Unfortunately his bar can’t be opened right now because of mold issues.  After Jack gets the call from Emily about Amanda at the hospital he rushes off.  We find out that the mold inspector, the kid Declan stole with and the guy they stole from are all in cahoots!  That kid, Trey wants the bar!  It’s like the Goonies all over again.  Somebody needs to step in and rescue the Porter brothers.

While Cora is out looking for Gordon she hears about Amanda Clarke’s accident.  she goes to the hospital to see her “daughter”.  Aidan escapes and tries to call Emily to warn her.  He tells her that her mom is dangerous.  Emily is wandering around the hospital.  I think maybe, just maybe she feels a bit guilty for Amanda getting hurt.  Declan comes to console Jack and sees Charlotte.  I feel so bad for Charlotte.  She thinks Amanda is her sister and she really does care about her.  Declan asks Charlotte if she’s ok and when she says no he does the classic good guy move.  He takes off his coat and puts it over Charlottes shoulders.  Emily walks up to Amanda’s room and sees her mother.  She’s telling Amanda not to worry that mommy is here and everything will be all right.  This triggers a memory in Emily.  She remembers being out in the ocean with her mom.  Emily tells her mom it’s too deep.  You can hear David yelling for Cora and Amanda/Emily.  Cora pushes Amanda’s head down under the water.  Her mom did try to kill her.  Emily is devastated.  She returns to the beach house.  Aidan shows up.  Emily tells him if he came just to say I told you so he can get out.  Aidan tires to hug Emily.  At first she just hits him but then she breaks down sobbing and lets Aidan hold her.  A crazy episode.  Emily is getting closer to the truth.  The real question is, will she be happy when she finds it?
