It’s October in New York City and that means one thing… costumed hobos! Not really. No, October in New York City means the time has come once again for the infamous New York Comic-Con. Midtown Manhattan has been overrun by cosplayers, and we normal folk couldn’t be happier about that. This year’s convention boasts appearances by Marvel, DC, NBC, ABC, Sony, Nintendo, and many, many more. The Walking Dead, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., NBC’s Dracula, Once Upon A Time, among others, are all in attendance and they’re here to greet their fans and answer their most pressing questions about their properties.
The show floor is no slouch however. Every year the floor is ground-zero for cosplay, posters, toys, shirts, masks, comics, games, and anything else the geek heart desires. This year’s floor features appearances by Game of Thrones, Power Rangers Megaforce, IFC Films, Starz and many more – in hopes of connecting with their core bases face-to-face, and not let them leave without some photos and bitchin’ swag.
