Review:
Normally I do not like low-budget horror movies. For one thing, a great script cannot help bad actors. Typically, low-budget means “average” actors, so-so script, and terrible special effects. I have to say that No Tell Motel was a very pleasant surprise. The story revolves around several friends who are going on a long weekend getaway with a borrowed RV. As can be expected, the RV crashes and everyone finds shelter in an abandoned motel down the road. There is a history with this motel that is explained a little at the beginning and throughout the movie. The movie has a darkness to it and several creepy scenes that are quite entertaining. Most of the actors have not been in many movies, and for several No Tell Motel was their first. However, you would not really notice, because they all do a very good job with this script.
Without giving away too much about this movie, I enjoyed how all the deaths did tie in together with each character. The story is not all that original and it did not stand out in any way… but it was entertaining and kept me interested. That’s all I could have asked for concerning this film. I would have to give this movie 3 stars for its entertainment value. Check out the trailer and see if it might be a movie of interest for you!
