Entertainment News Comments Off on Knott’s Scary Farm 2018 tickets on sale now

As we inch closer to the most wonderful time of the year (Halloween season, obviously), great news continues to pop up and in this case, it’s that Knott’s Scary Farm tickets are now on sale! Running select nights from September 20 – October 31, 2018, Knott’s Scary Farm is a must for all haunt and horror lovers. Once the sun sets, the entire theme park transforms into one big nightmarish delight, full of everything your spooky heart could ever desire, including over 1,000 monsters lurking in the fog, waiting for you.

Four themed scare zones make up the grounds of the park: Ghost Town Streets- the original scare zone that started it all, The Hollow- the home of the Headless Horseman and all of his victims that have found their way back from beyond the grave, CarnEVIL- the fun filled boardwalk area filled with sparkling lights, carnival games.. and a ton of evil clowns (yay!), and lastly, the new scare zone for 2018, Forsaken Lake. Here is what we know so far about this new area, courtesy of the Knott’s Scary Farm website: “For the first time, the lake underneath Silver Bullet reveals the horrors and creatures it’s kept hidden, until now. Forsaken Lake will unleash gothic creatures, which have been ravaged by the dark and murky waters, as they wander their crypts preying on unsuspecting visitors, looking for victims to drag back to their watery graves.” Sounds scary, but also refreshing! Autumn nights can be quite hot in southern California, you know.

Within each scare zone are the always impressive haunted houses and mazes. The attention to detail put into each one is almost uncanny and absolutely helps amplify the scares. My personal favorite from last year was Trick-or-Treat: Lights Out. Guests brave enough to enter the Green Witch’s dark home were armed with faulty flashlights that would go out at the worst times possible, toying with your senses while you maneuvered through the cursed house. Two of my favorite instances were when I entered a room and saw someone in the corner but then everything went to black so I could only hear the monster lurking around me.. I also had my flashlight go out in the last room where the Green Witch was supposed to be but wasn’t at first, and once it turned back on she was inches from my face. It was GLORIOUS!

We don’t have news yet on the mazes and show lineup for Knott’s Scary Farm 2018, but you can bet we will share all of the details once they are made available. We are definitely looking forward to seeing what spooky shows will be around this year, especially since last year was Elvira’s final year with KSF. We need details. All of the details. As soon as possible!

Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased HERE. There are a number of ticket options including tickets with front of the line access to all of the mazes and rides, as well as season passes that grant you access to every night of Scary Farm goodness.
