Annabelle Comes Home is the latest chapter of the Conjuring franchise dovetails Annabelle’s spinoff story with the original Conjuring franchise. From the look of the trailer, it’s going to be every bit as creepy as every other movie between the two franchises, and it also serves as a great reminder not to touch ANYTHING in a room full of creepy things.
Ed and Lorraine Warren have been collecting haunted and possessed items and locking them away for safekeeping in their home. Their daughter understands the importance of staying away from these items, but when her friend comes to visit things go very wrong.

As you can see, Annabelle has been locked up in her case ever since the Warrens got the sinister doll under control, but she has been dying to come out and play.
