Scream Queens star Billie Lourd joins the cast of American Horror Story.
The cast of American Horror Story’s seventh season is getting bigger as we learn that Scream Queens and Star Wars: The Force Awakens star Billie Lourd has joined the cast. We already know that American Horror Story alums Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters are signed on, and Parks and Recs’ Billy Eichner is also confirmed for the show’s seventh season.
American Horror Story’s seventh season is less a mystery than the sixth season. Ryan Murphy revealed the seventh season’s theme during a February appearance on Watch What Happens Live, whereas fans were kept in the dark about the sixth season up until the show aired.
According to Murphy, the seventh season will be based upon the recent presidential election, but don’t expect to see Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton. Lourd’s character has not been announced but speculation abounds as to how she’ll fit into the “Election” theme.
American Horror Story will start filming in June, and the show is set to return in October.
