American Horror Story Apocalypse premieres September 12

Recaps and Previews Comments Off on American Horror Story Apocalypse premieres September 12

American Horror Story Apocalypse arrives on September 12 and the eighth season of Ryan Murphy’s franchise is blazing into new territory.

The end is near as American Horror Story Apocalypse arrives on September 12. Season 8 brings the long awaited crossover between season 1’s Murder House and season 3’s Coven, but just because we know that much doesn’t mean we know what this story is all about. Ryan Murphy is the master of surprise, and this season promises to be mindblowing.

Here’s what we know: Season 8’s Apocalypse takes place in the near future, as in just a few years from now. There’s some kind of nuclear event that destroys everything, and somehow the residents of Murder House collide with the members of the New Orleans Coven.

The most exciting element of season 8 will no doubt be the cast, which includes many actors who appeared in season 1 and season 3 and will reprise their roles from the respective seasons. Jessica Lange is coming back as Constance Langdon, mother of Evan Peters’ Tate. While we know about many of the returning cast members, you can bet that there will be many more who haven’t been announced, and that’s what we’re excited about.

Apocalypse looks gritty and dark and terrifying, and we can’t wait to see what Ryan Murphy has in store for us! The season 8 premiere of American Horror Story is September 12 at 10pm on FX.
